I have taken a degree in History with a minor in Literature. My favourite period in literature is the Romantics which I never studied formally because my university always scheduled it at 8:00 AM! Why study authors at a time that they themselves would not be awake for? What I really taken away from the Romantics is nothing to do with love. All of them were horrible to their lovers anyway. Instead think the most important thing I have taken from them is the idea of the sublime.
I am trying to keep my education moving along but don't seem to be making much progress.
